TEXT: Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

MESSAGE
The above scriptures reveals the state or how we ought to react if we're being chaste even though it is not a thing of joy but at the end, the result is better.

Brethren, if we're being corrected for doing something wrong, we don't need to be angry nor abuse the person but rather understand that, it is for our own good. When king David received Gods message through Prophet Nathan on what he did, the Bible said he repented; he never said oh I am the king, I can do whatever I like but he repented, however the punishment came to his son.

As we bring today's Devotional to a close, it is important to stress that if you don't want to be punished, you need to live right with God and with everyone, don't steal, don't kill, don't tell lies, don't bear false witnesses etc .
