  Topic: The training of sons.
  
  Text: Proverbs 22:6
  
  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Message

We often think of earthly parents whenever we consider this scripture, however, the Holy Spirit wants to reveal to us how the lord is dealing with us as sons. In Mathew 6:9 God is revealed as "OUR FATHER" and as a father trains( disciplines) his child whom he delights on so the Lord trains(discipline) us as his sons.

God never trains us by theory, He never trains us by signs and wonders, neither will He ever train us by miracle. If this was the case the children of Israel wouldn't have rebelled against the Lord because " the lord made known his acts unto the children of Israel and his ways unto Moses. We can read everything that has been written on Christian doctrine and still there won't be an impartation or any positive change in our lives. So God's ways are not theory, His ways are very practical and God trains us by experience.

Beloved to fully understand how great is our inheritance in the Lord Jesus and to fully walk in the fullness of all that the Lord has for us we must enroll ourselves in the school of the spirit where we will be trained and taught hard lessons so that we will have real knowledge of the Lord in the inner life.

Lord give me grace to take it all Joy when I suffer hardship and to endure training as son.
