*TOPIC: ARE YOU AMONG THE FAITHFUL REMNANTS?*
*TEXT:* *REVELATION 3:4*
Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.
They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
The message
Throughout churchs history, there had always been a faithful few who have not “defiled their garments” with sin and unfaithfulness to God.
Instead, they have remained spiritually pure, devoted to Christ and committed to his original message as passed on through His faithful messengers throughout the New Testament.
Have you examined your life to be sure you are faithful and fully committed to the cause of Christ or you are under the wrong assumption that since you are going to church or performing some church activities it is an indication that your way is right with God?
Perhaps you should be reminded that service to God has nothing to do with your actual relationship with God.
You may value service above relationship, but God values your relationship with Him above your service in the church. It is your relationship with God that will take you to heaven, not your service.
Revelation 3:4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
Of the multitudes of Christians that attend the church every Sunday all over the world true faithful ones are very, very few. They are the ones the bible refers to in Revelation 3:4 as the “Few … who have not soiled their clothes.”
Are you among this few or you belong to the multitude of sinning Christians who take the grace of God as a licence to sin?
*Action point*
Forsake sin and be among the chosen few for the bible says, “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”
*prayer point*
Ask for grace to live holy and be among the few that are chosen in Jesus Christ name.
