Topic: PRAYING FOR THOSE IN AUTHORITY
Text: 1Timothy 2:1-2
1: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2: For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
MESSAGE
Most believers murmur alongside those who doesn’t believe in God, forgetting that it is our failure to remember our leaders in prayer that has brought consistent problem up on the land.
People in authority needs our intervention for they can't do it alone. Atimes, their mistakes do have more effects on their followers than themselves.
If we require peace in the home, we must pray for our head. If we want peace in the church, we need to pray for all our pastors and church leaders, leaving the church is not the solution. If we want peace in our nation, we need to pray for our leaders, traveling out of the country is not the solution.
How many of us remember to say at least a word of prayer for our country daily? For example, God bless my country. The word of God says, pray for the good of Jerusalem. Let us inculcate the habit of praying for our leaders, it's for our own good. May God help us in Jesus name. Amen
Prayer Point: Say a word of prayer for our leaders, at all ramification, as you are been led.
