TOPIC: How to increase your strength

TEXT:Proverbs 24:5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

MESSAGE

A man or woman of strength is someone who has stayed in the presence of God to gain enough momentum. There are several things that gives strength and also increase the strength of a man and all of it is found in the presence of God, the Almighty.

Our opening text reveals that a man of knowledge increase in strength which means that the knowledge you acquire is capable of increasing your strength which could be to do good or bad, depending on what you take in/learn. However acquire strength to go in the might of Christ, to have this you have to sit in God’s presence.

In the book of Isaiah 40:31 the Bible says, ‘but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The above scriptures further reveals how your strength can be renewed or better increase and it is all in waiting in God’s presence. Do you want a renewed or increased strength then wait on the Lord.

ACTION POINT: Be ready to spend quality time in God’s presence so as to renew your strength.
