GRACE CENTRE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DECEMBER 8, 2020

Topic: The Mirror

DATE; James 1vs 23-25

"For if a person just listens and doesn't obey, he is like a man looking at his face in a mirror 24: as soon as walks away, he can't see himself anymore or remember what he looks like (25), but if anyone keeps looking steadily into God's law for free men, he will not only remember but he will do what it says, and God will greatly bless him in everything he does"

Everytime in preparation for the day we just want to be sure we look good and good to go by looking at the mirror to see if there be flaw in our dressing and make-up especially for the females and when we're satisfied we're good to go.

But have you ever left the mirror wondering in your heart how you look like I mean forgetting what you look like? And this feeling of it seems I'm not satisfied with my look and want to look at the mirror once again? That's exactly how the word of God is to every believer the word of God is the mirror, have you looked at the mirror (The Word) and forgotten what it revealed about you go back again and see until you reflect the true image of whom you represent, until those flaws and shortcomings are being amended keep looking at the mirror it is in that the word become flesh, you become the word because you consciously become the doer of the word.

Prayer point: Lord help me to see the need to look into your word every time until the word is made flesh.
