Text: Matt.5:13

"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."



MESSAGE

Cooking and confectionery thrives with the proper application of condiments which eventually bring out the taste and among the few important condiments is salt. Salt is a natural substance used to season, preserve, enrich and flavor food. The world is tasteless, Christians are the tastemakers putting salt to preserve the fast decadence in the society and also to make a difference.

Salt has the ability to restrict the growth or actions of micro-organisms. This is the singular reason why it is used to preserve food items. The moral decadence, erosion of values and distortion of views away from godliness is so fast paced and alarming. As salt of the earth, we must stand as preservatives to preserve our world from decay in standards, morals, values, views and straying from God and godliness.

Being a salt is enriching your world, turning people to righteousness and bringing savor to the tasteless world.

Lord, please grant me the grace to be able to diffuse your sweet fragrance everywhere.
