Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless - cheerfully.
Message
Much more than the giving, God is particular about the heart of the giver. As much as our God has given us the will to make our choices in life we must be careful of the reason why we want or do things.
Jesus was comparing the giving of the widow and the rich man and approves that of the widow because truth be told most of us can only give when it is convenient for us. Other times when God speaks our senses are not alive to receive while some give for the purpose of recognition.
Let’s be mindful of the state of our heart when we give as that will determine if our giving will be acceptable or not
Prayer
Father help me to be a cheerful giver
