  Topic: Dream as light to your breakthrough.
  
  Text: Gen. 37: 5-11
  
  5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
  
  6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed:
  
  7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.
  
  8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.
  
  9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
  
  10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
  
  11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

Message

Some people disregards their dreams thinking maybe it is imaginary or due to their thought. Yes, at times, your dream might be the continuation of your thought or imagination but some are special visions from God that you needs to take cognizant of.

Our Bible reading tells us on how a revelation was shown to Joseph, and out of ignorant and kind mind, he shared it with his family and this created more enmity among him and his siblings.

Your dream in most cases brings about light to all your footsteps, it gives directions on the next step you are to take. It gives precautions on where and what you should do without, and it tells you things to come in the nearest future.

God himself uses dream to disturbed some kings in the bible just to make promises come to pass in the life of His children. Remember the likes of Joseph and Daniel. So stop shunning your dream, rebuke the bad ones and embrace the good ones. The bad ones might even help you identify those you will distance yourself from.

Action Point: Dream is a gift, prov. 18:16, your gift will enable you to fulfill your vision it will make a way for you in life, so utilize it.


Prayer point: Father, grant me the gift of dream and its interpretation, and let my good dreams come to manifestation. Amen
