Topic: The Source of Mercies and Comfort
Text 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

MESSAGE
There is nothing without a source, a man has a source where it came from and so is everything created on the surface of the earth. Brethren, our opening text reveals the Father who has the capacity to birth mercy and comfort, it is to be noted that no one can receive anything except it is given or released from above, so in other words, if you desire His mercies and comfort of which comes out of his Good heart as a great God, you must ask of him.

So many had ran to mere man not knowing that humans are incapacitated in their nature but when you go to God for mercies and comfort He tends to give you when you genuinely ask from him.

Lamentations 3:22 reveals what the mercies of God does which is to deliver us all from been consumed, this is God's mercies to us..
Also verse 4 of our opening text reveal why we need God's comfort and that is because we can comfort others too. There is nothing the devil will offer without asking something greater that you can't give in return.

In conclusion, know that God is the source of all good and perfect things, go to him and not man.

Prayer Point: Lord show me your mercies and comfort me at all ramifications of my life.
