    Topic: Living by Revelation.

Text: Galatians 2:2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

Message

In 1 Samuel 17, the Israelites were dismayed, oppressed and greatly afraid as they watched one man defied the name the lord. The Israelites came to fight in the Lord's name without revelation. But a man with revelation stepped in and everything changed. Hear what David said in verse 36 and 37...

36:Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. 37:David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.

Apostle Paul lived his whole life by revelation. No wonder he didn't run in vain. Hear his testimony

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7.

The Christian race will be so frustrating, discouraging, and defeating without revelation of Christ. Take the Revelation of Christ away from Christianity, it becomes a mere religion full of activities, festivals and rituals. Henceforth we must do all things with the Revelation of Christ. Work by Revelation, sing by Revelation, study the scriptures and pray by Revelation, confronts challenges by Revelation. Whatsoever we do we must do it by Revelation of Christ so that we will not run in vain.

Action point

A Christian life without revelation of Christ is a defeated life. Go for Revelation.

Prayer points

Lord give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you.
