TOPIC: NO ONE KNOWS HIS TIME
TEXT: Ecclesiastes 9:12 “ for man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them

Message
Today, listen to the words of wisdom from the book Elessiastes 9:10-12 that says; Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might: for there is no work, nor devices, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave, whither thou goest.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that –
The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong neither yet bread to the wise nor yet, riches to the men of understanding, nor yet favour to the men of skill,
but time and chance happeneth to them all.
For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

Truly yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not certain, today is the present that you have, please manage it and do what you ought to do with it. Live each of your day for God’s glory.

Going through the story of the Rich man and Lazarus, after the death of the two in the book of Luke 16, verses 27&28 the rich man said “I pray thee therefore, father that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house; for I have five brethren, that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment” the rich man regretted his actions when he was on earth and wish to correct it but there is no repentance in the grave. Brethren, now that you are on earth, it is a golden opportunity for you to correct your ways now and do what is right in the sight of God with all thy might. Tomorrow is not certain.

Note this today that you cannot punch CTRL Z (the undo key) when you are in the grave or when you are no more. Now that you are alive, prepare for your end time. Whatsoever you have to do about your faith, do it now and do it with all thy might: for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

Action Point: The only thing that is certain is death, plan for your end.

Prayer; Oh lord, teach me to live each day for your glory. Amen
