TOPIC: The Soul of the Diligent Shall Be Made Fat
Text: Proverbs 13:4 “the soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of diligent shall made fat”
*Message*
Our God does not give room for laziness at all. 2 Thess 3:10b says “if any would not work, neither should he eat.” This shows that if we want to eat we have to work. God want us to work, not even work alone but also diligently work! Considering the patriarchs in the bible, starting from Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob etc. even Jesus our Lord also work, John 5:17 says “My father worketh hitherto and I work. Do not be lazy, physically & spiritually you have to work and also be diligent in your work.
Many people pray but they do not work, they continue to ask for blessing but they have nothing doing for God to bless. It is what you have that God will multiply. Check and scan through your life and your hand today, what do you want God to multiply? What are you doing that you want God to bless, multiply and increase? Note this today, that anything multiplied by zero (0) is zero (nothing), which means you have to be doing something so that it will be easy for God to bless that which you are doing. Reading our text from The New Spirit Filled Life Bible version says “the soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich”.
Action words: Find something worthwhile doing but not just do alone, do it diligently!
Prayer: Oh lord bless the work of my hand abundantly. Amen
