GRACE CENTRE DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Date: Monday June 21ST 2021
Topic: Run And Not Weary
Bible Text: Isaiah 40: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

MESSAGE:
When life is smooth and kind we tend to be self-sufficient, depending on ourselves and our own resources but in our weariness and exhaustion, we learn that our own human resources is not sufficient; that we really need God. So we can use these day to wait upon God, even more than usual, seeking his truth in the word and his presence in prayer and worship.

Do you feel like there is so much on your plate that you are constantly running to get it all done? There are seasons when we need to go the extra mile and give it our all, and there are seasons to rest and rejuvenate. Today’s scripture tells us that during those times when it’s necessary, we can run and not grow weary! Are you facing something that seems to be taking all of your energy? Wait on the Lord! Expect, look for and hope in Him.

The Bible promises that when you live with expectancy, when you stay hopeful, when you make preparations for the goodness of God, you’ll rise up higher. Your strength will be renewed, and you’ll be empowered to overcome life’s obstacles!

Action Point: Wait on God and He will renew your strength.

Prayer Point: I will run and not grow weary in Jesus name. Amen
