Topic: The Roman centurion
Text: Luke 7:1-5
[1]When Jesus had finished saying all this to the people, he returned to Capernaum.
[2]At that time the highly valued slave of a Roman officer was sick and near death.
[3]When the officer heard about Jesus, he sent some respected Jewish elders to ask him to come and heal his slave.
[4]So they earnestly begged Jesus to help the man. “If anyone deserves your help, he does,” they said,
[5]“for he loves the Jewish people and even built a synagogue for us.”

The study of the centurion officer has been a consistent one teaching us that, faith and humility is one thing you need to 'see the lord'.
Today we shall further learn about some virtue which we most time do not count as significant but poses to be great agent of connectivity, be it divine or natural. We must understand that the centurion soldier was a man who was informed but never seize to be informed. He just ALWAYS want to know and good for him he knew as well that Jesus' was in town. No information is useless, be swift to hear, quick to understand and discern well before applying wisdom for not all information is appropriate for application.
Another important virtue was that he knows how to value something. When you understand the concept of value you will know how to cherish and keep. He knew he must keep that servant, it cost him to get it. It doesn't matter the price we must learn to value that Pen, notebook, cloth, education, skill, job, grace, foodstuff etc we have, it cost us something. Your prudence in little will determine how much more you will get ( Luke
17). The centurion man didn't want to loose what he had and in his quest for solution he meet Jesus who did not just healed his servant but as well celebrated him.
The centurion man seeks for help appropriately. Sometimes our help is with a kid, some an old fellow, for some your annoying neighbor etc. If we don't learn to be friendly and humble we might continue with that problem. He was as well outspoken; keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking, help will soon come. Mathew 7:7
Conclusively, be kind! It's reward cannot be overemphasize.
Action Point: keep doing good, your recommendation for connectivity is near
Prayer point: lord I receive strength to be good. Amen
