Topic: UNDERSTANDING DIVINE INTIMACY

Bible Text: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; Phil 3:10 (KJV)

Message

Understanding is the process of comprehension and reconciliation of differences, "Divine" means devote to the worship of God (1 John 5:7) while "Intimacy" means close knowledge & association with God.

Divine Intimacy implies we have a close association and fellowship with the Almighty God.

Brethren, being an executive or worker, attending various church programs and reading spiritual books isn’t enough to win the heart of God and it’s not a guarantee of you being vibrant or on fire for God. Have you ever thought of having a close relationship with God?



Having an intimacy with God, is about how much you are hungry and thirsty of God. Have you sat down and look into your life and tell yourself that you are not satisfy with your growth? Brethren, cry out to God, build a war room and call God for a fellowship, cry to Jesus to be proud of you. From our bible text, it is obvious that Apostle Paul crave to win God (vs 8) and he wants to know him and the power of his resurrection (vs 10). We can’t say Apostle Paul didn’t work for God, he was even among the apostle of Jesus Christ but he was still not contented with his spiritual life! Here you are, where we all tend to always complain of being busy and you are proud and happy of your stagnant knowledge of God.



ACTION POINT: Crave to understand and fellowship with God. Study Ps 27:4, where David pour his heart to God.



PRAYER POINT: Lord Jesus, connect me back to you, that I may know you and understand the power of your resurrection.
