TOPIC: Know your God

TEXT: Daniel 11 vs 32b

32 but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

MESSAGE

Thinking about things that happen around us as an individual or as a people, I get to know that our conclusions and what we do in that situation matters a lot. Many a times, we always conclude on a wrong note and sometimes leave us being perplexed, devastated and praying a wrong prayer. Knowing the stand, ability and word of our God in every situation will strengthen us and give us right view concerning every situation.

What we do in every situations matters a lot, because exploits are most of the time (if not always) being done in difficult and hard times, and that’s why we need strength for exploits. It is only those that know their God (His stand, His capability, His nature and His Word) that will be strong and strengthened in heart in every situations.

Daniel and the three Hebrew men knew their God and did exploits. Elisha knew the God of his father, Elijah. Do you know your God? What do you know about God that can give you hope, courage and strength in time of difficulties?

Dear Spirit of the Living God, lead my heart to the path of knowing my God
