Topic: LIVE IN PEACE WITH ALL MEN

Text: Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

MESSAGE
The story of King Sihon of Heshbon and the Israelites on their way to the promise Land in Deut 2: 26-27 is a good example of people trying to wage war against fellow men especially God's people. (Vs 26-27 from the dessert of Kedemoth I sent Messengers to Sihon King of Heshbon offering peace). If only Sihon had known that the Israelites were God's delighted people, he would have stretched his hand back and allow them through his land in peace.


The Bible has commanded us to do our best to live in peace with all men. Imagine a world where we correct each other in love, a world where we accept each other's flaw and see that no man is above mistake. Let's imagine a world where judgement is just and there's freedom of vengeance. How sweet it would be.

Such world can exist and it can begin with you and I. If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at the mirror and begin with who you see.

Action: Learn to forgive and let go of wrongs from people, learn to conciously say 'SORRY' when you wrong others. Do everything within your reach to live peaceably with all men.


Prayer: Father, I surrender my will to You, help me in my decision to live peaceably with all men in Jesus name. Amen
