TOPIC: Encounters with God.
Job 1:8-9,11-12
[8]And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
[9]Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
[11]But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
[12]And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
MESSAGE:
We have read and also heard about Job who was a man after God's own heart, we may have even use job story as a movie which to interpret and make people see that no your position in life,you can still be in sorrow. But in all the trials and temptation that job faced, he was still righteous.
One major key that made job to took his stand despite all that befall him and all that the wife and friends told him so as to deny his faith, he refused to say negative things to God because he knew who he served.
Job was able to took his stand because of the encounters he has generated from God and in all his dealings with God,he knew and understood who God really his and most importantly he cherished his relationship with God that he won't allow anything to come in between him and God even the present situation he was facing at that point in time.
Brethren, the only key that make us scale through and that can sustain us in life is to have a genuine encounter with God personally, not what people had told us but having a personal relationship with God experientially.
Some many of God's servants in the Bible like Paul and other Apostles were able to overcome and not deny their faith because of the level of encounters with God.
Can I still have an encounter with God? Yes you can still have an encounter with God that you also will become unmovable and you will be as such that no false teaching can take you away from God.
ACTION POINT: Your encounter with God is your only password out of whatever that may befall you and that can make you stand in Christ forever.
PRAYER POINT: Oh Lord create in me and unending hunger to seek you.
