Topic: Necessity of the saints
Text: Romans 12:13
[13]When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.

Message
Distributing to the necessity of saints is one of the major ways of edifying the body of Christ. When a Christian brother or sister is in needs, as a child of God it is expected by God's command that when we have the ability we should meet their necessity.

Acts 4:34-35 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

The above bible verse further reveals how the very act of giving among saints was practiced, bible says that no one amidst them lack anything..

This very act of giving is worthy of emulation and every child of God should practice the very act of giving so that the need of the people of God can be met.

The latter part of our opening text says that we should be eager to practice hospitality, this implies that we must see helping people as our core responsibility, if people around us are in need and we have the capacity to meet their needs, it is expected of us to meet their need.

In conclusion, when we see it as necessity to meet the need of God's people, God too will see it as a need to meet our needs.

Action point: An act of giving opens door of breakthrough.
