GRACE CENTRE DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Date: 8th July; 2021
Topic: Witnesses Unto Christ 1
Text: Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

MESSAGE
What does witnessing means? Witnessing means the testimony or validation of an occurrence. As a Christian and believer in Christ, we are called to be witnesses unto Him of some factors that the world does not believe about Him. These factors are.
1. His death and burial
2. His resurrection
3. His Ascension.

How can we bare witnesses that Jesus died and was buried?
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin, for he that is dead is freed from sin.
We were in Christ when He was crucified, so our life must validate that Christ was crucified, by living a crucified life.

The reign of Sin in our life is contrary to the testimony that Jesus died. 1John 3:9 says whosoever is born of God does not commit sin. This is the testimony and witness that our life must bear, that Jesus died, and I died with Him and the body of Sin was destroyed with Him. I'm no longer under any curse or evil covenant.
If your experience is contrary to this, you need to cry unto God that He may bring you into the testimony of His death, that you may be a true witness.

Prayer Point: I come to the end of experience of my death with Sin, flesh, curse and failure in Jesus Name. Amen
