MESSAGE
Salvation is to be delivered or rescued from the consequences of sin and the clutches of death and Satan. God is the one who enact salvation, and we are the one who have gotten ourselves into the mess, therefore God alone is able to save. 1Tim 1: 15.
God sent Jesus Christ to rescue us from the consequence of our sin.
A new Christian will say, I have accepted Jesus as my saviour but then I slip and end up wondering if my faith is strong enough.. If I am really saved why doesn't God talk to me like He talks to other people ? You would be surprised about how many of us walk around harbouring doubts, that steal our peace and assurance .
The Bible says: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Are you trusting in Christ? Have your confessed Him as your saviour? Then you are saved! Doubts always arise when you go by your feelings instead of God's word. Your emotions will change like the weather. The enemy will use them to tell you that salvation is fine for other people but not for you. Paul said, I know whom I have believed and persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him.( 2 Timothy 1:12).
Faith is the simplest, plainest thing in the world..its simple believing God.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
We are saved for a relationship, God has overcome our greatest problems so that we could be brought into a relationship with Him.
ACTION POINT: Confess your sin to God , ask for forgiveness and sin no more.
PRAYER POINT : Father thank You for saving me, write my name in the book of life and keep me standing till the end, in Jesus name.
