TOPIC: Overcoming challenges and afflictions of life.
TEXT:1 Samuel 1:9-11 So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.
And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.
And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

MESSAGE
Challenges and afflictions of life are somewhat inevitable and most are capable of weighing people down regardless of age ,level of influence or your financial position.

Reading our opening text from the very first verse, you will observed that the man called Elkanah wasn't a poor man and wasn't an issue at all, he had two wives, Hannah and peninnah, Hannah do not have children but peninnah does and Hannah's inability to bear children created pain and sorrow in her heart and for everytime Peninnah mocked her.

Brethren, are you currently afflicted and weighed down by the challenges of life? Learning from the case study of Hannah, she knew where her source of having children would come from and she was persistent until she got what she want. You also can get what you want from God and your challenges can be over only and if you can recognize God as your only solution provider and be persistent with Him in the place of prayer.

In conclusion, Have you sought another means of breakthrough for yourself? You can still come to God, He is always ready to save you, all you need is to acknowledge God as your solution provider, for only God can lift you out of the challenges and afflictions of life.

Prayer point: Lord God, I come to you in the name of Jesus, arise and save me from my afflictions and challenges. Amen!
