Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ

*MESSAGE*
Two germane things before fixing your hope on grace; prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit.
Preparing or girding up the loins of your mind for action implies an allusion both to runners and
waiters; to such that run in a race, and to such that wait upon their master; who both gird up their clothes that they might not hinder or trouble them, either in running or waiting.
You are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses; you must consciously and Consistently lay aside every sin and weight
that easily besets you.
(Hebrews 12:1).
Sobriety of the spirit ensures you follow sound reasoning, and you are not under the control of passion.

Sobriety of spirit puts you in a state wherein your desires and passions are well regulated.
Be sober, be watchful against all spiritual dangers and enemies, and be temperate in all behaviour.
Be sober- minded in opinion, as well as in practice, and humble in your judgment of yourself.
One thing may be difficult to achieve for the average individual; being fixed on something.
Jesus admonishes in Luke 11:34 that when your eyes is single, your whole body will be full of light.
It requires discipline to stay fixated on something.
You are
expected to completely fix your hope on the grace of Jesus Christ
brought to you.
This grace manifests once you catch the revelation
of Jesus Christ, this revelation is beyond what you can be taught, it
is to be caught.
Have you caught the revelation about Jesus
finished work on the cross?
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" John 1:17.

*ACTION POINT*
The Law of Moses was sought, but the Grace of Jesus came to you, it was brought to you.

Get fixated on this!

*PRAYER POINT:*
Dear Lord, beyond what I have been taught, I catch a revelation of your Grace in Jesus Name. Amen
