Topic: Understanding Sin
Text:1 Timothy 1:9-11
{9}We also know that the law is made not for the righteous(A) but for lawbreakers and rebels,(B) the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, {10}for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine {11} that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

Various names has been given to SIN some call it mistakes or failure while some call it weakness whatever name you want to call it Sin is Sin
Yes, a sin is a sin! Doubtless, all sin comes with the sentence of death (Rom. 6:23). In that sense, there is not such thing as a “big” sin or a “little” sin. Christians must be opposed to all sin, starting with the sin in our own lives. Those sins are what put Jesus on the cross, and anyone who would proclaim a message that ever downplays the consequence of sin should be noted.
Sin started with Satan (Isaiah 14:12-14), it then entered the world through Adam and Everything because they listened to the devil and thereafter disobeyed God. We know that, biblically speaking, there is no such thing as a so-called “little white” lie. A lie is a lie! All lies result in being thrown into a lake of fire (Rev. 21:8). This is a lesson that we need to learn when we are tempted to define sins as “little” sins and “big” sins. As humans, we tend to think of “big” sins as the ones you commit obviously and in most cases ignorantly while “little” sins as the ones that we commit to save face. Yet all sin separates us from God (Isa 59:2).
Therefore, anytime someone tries to make light of sin or tell you about how a sin is not that bad, they are teaching that which is straight out of hell (John 8:44).

Nobody can hide his sin from God, it is only wise that for a sinner to be free, there is need for him to be washed clean in the Blood of jesus

Father I know my sins are not hidden from you, I plead you give me the grace to Sin no more. Amen
