Text: Mark 12: 30- 31(KJV)
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

MESSAGE

The above scripture made us to understand that if we are to love then, it has to be with all our heart. Love isn't just a word said by God, is an instruction and commandment from God, and if you truly are christ-like then living in righteousness should be our top priority through obedience.

Characteristics of Love includes:
1. Love suffers long.
2. Love is kind.
3. Love does not envy.
4. Love does not boost itself or show off; when you love someone, you need not to show it off or boost about it, it leads to pride.
5. Love does not seek for, what is convenient and profitable for us; Love is not selfish or self-centered
6. Love does not rejoice in iniquity but in the truth
7. Love bears all things; Love is loyal and faithful, irrespective of the cost, you will cover them and always stand your ground in defending and protecting what you love.

There is a difference between love and lust, when you love, you must be able to pay sacrifice (Love suffers long) you need to be patient and envy not.
