TOPIC: CHOICE OF LIFE PARTNER IN MARRIAGE.
TEXT: 2 Corinthian 6:14
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Message
Choosing a life partner in marriage is a very crucial and delicate decision that can affect a person's destiny positively or negatively. The choice of a life partner will go to a very large extent in either strengthening or weakening your relationship with God.

If you don't believe me, ask Solomon, when he chose to marry strange women, he was influenced to forsake God and serve Idols. That particular partner of yours might be a prayer warrior or even a prophet in church, if he or she is not God's choice for you, then destruction awaits. He or she becomes your prayer point instead of your prayer partner and even your destination in eternity is questionable.

Do you also know that depending on God's guidance in choice making is a sign of meekness and humidity? (Psalm 25:9) God might decide to put you in His waiting room (probably brother is coming or God is not giving you go ahead concerning a brother, age is not by your side or no financial support to sponsor our marriage) keep praying and trust Him to do His work with sincerity while you wait. (Proverbs 31:30).

Inconclusion, the devil is at war with believers as regards the issue of marriage knowing that godly marriage will further raise union and children that will cause his kingdom havoc.. seek the Lord

Action Point: Seek the face of God and sound Christian counseling before choosing a life partner. Do not chase by sight and human knowledge alone; God's guidance is key to making the best choice in all that concerns you.

Prayer Point: Father in the name of Jesus, please guide me in all decisions I have to make in life; Lord help our youths to make the right choices whenever it is time for them to choose a life partner.
