GRACE CENTRE DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Date: 27th September, 2021
Topic: The God that raiseth
Text: Psalms 113:4-9 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.

Message
The God we serve is a God that with Him the impossibilities becomes possible... God specialises in doing awesome things, doing miracles that is beyond human thinking.

Our opening text reveals some mystery about the God we serve; some of which are

Firstly, the Lord is higher above all nations and His Glory above the heavens; The one who is higher above the nations has the power to control the nations that He is higher, this implies that God who is higher above all the nations is to be adored, worshipped and nothing should be placed higher than the God who is higher than all nations..

It's so disturbing that some have chosen to worship other gods above the God who is sitted higher above the nations. if you worship other gods then you need to repent and make amendment.

Our opening text further reveals that the God that we're talking about is not just higher above all nations but His glory is above the Heavens, the Glory of God is the aura that evolves round his presence and if you can spend quality time before God then you're certain to receive of his Glory.. Halleluyah

To be continue Tomorrow.

Lets pray!

Father, grant me an encounter of you that will make me serve and worship you like never before. Amen
