Topic : Called to do the impossible
    Text : John 5:19.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

    Message
God will not command us to do what he has not empowered and equipped us to do. We are called to do what is impossible with us but possible with God. Many believers think miracles and power are for extra special anointed people of God. Many get hung up on the idea that Jesus did miracles as God, not man. In reality He did miracles as a man in right relationship with God because He was setting forth a model for us, something for us to follow. If He had performed miracles as God, we would all be
extremely impressed, but we would have no compulsion to emulate Him. But as we can see that God has commissioned us to do what Jesus did, thus proving unto us that Jesus lived to show us we could do it too. Jesus so emptied Himself that He was incapable of doing what was required of Him by the Father without the Father’s help.
By implication, we must realize that our flesh add no advantage to us instead it weaken us and make us inconsistent. So we must allow the Lord to work in us both to do and to will for his good pleasures
The nature of our call requires more than we are capable of. When $we stick to doing only the stuff we can do, we are not involved in the call.

Action point: When we yield to the call of the lord, signs and wonders are bound to happen

Prayer Point: Lord give me grace to yield to your call and not to the call of man.
