Topic: What fruit
Text: Matthew 7:16-20 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
MESSAGE
Every fruits is known by it's tree, whenever we see a mango on a tree, we know definitely that it's a mango tree or whenever we see an orange on a tree, we know that it's an orange tree, so it is with every creature..
The kind of fruits (Character) you exhibit is as a reflection of what you have given yourself to!
There are two kinds of tree you can sow to
1. Holy Spirit
2. Flesh
If you sow to the Holy Spirit, what will be your fruit is the workings, dimensions and character of the Holy Spirit as written in Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Flesh: If you sow to to the flesh, definitely, you will exhibit the nature of the flesh as written in Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary to each other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would..
Flesh and the Spirit, whichever you sow to, you will definitely reap the fruit thereof.
Action point: Be careful of what you feed yourself.
