    Topic :Expectations
    Text : psalm 62:5
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

    Message
By nature all men have expectations. All men have who or what they look up to for something at one point or the other. At a time, the children of Israel went down to Egypt for help. They relied on the horses ( economy) of the Egyptians. They trusted in their chariots ( their technology and sophisticated war machineries) because they were many. They had great hopes in their horse men ( man power and human connections) because they were very strong
In all of these, they look not unto the holy one of Israel neither did they seek the Lord. At the end the strength of Egypt was their shame and their trust in the shadow of the Egyptians was their confusion. They were afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation and Egypt their glory.
Brethren we are in the middle of the year. Let us re-examine our expectations. Our expectation must never be in a man whose breathe goeth forth, he return to his earth in that very day his thoughts and plans and purposes perish. As we proceed in the second half of this year, our expectations must be from the lord alone because when we look unto him our face shall be radiant and we won't be ashamed.

Action point : when our expectations is from the lord we will live up to expectation.

Prayer point : Lord I look up to you, let me not be ashamed.
