TEXT: John 4 vs 39 - 42
39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.
41 And many more believed because of his own word;
42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

MESSAGE
Many of us are like the Samaritans, who first believe Jesus base on the testimony of others. We gave our life to Jesus, base on what some people say about Him; He is the savior, the peace giver, the way to the Father etc. At initial, the Samaritans belief is on the testimony of that woman, but later, in their staying with Jesus, they heard His word and and there was a change in Faith. Believing God as a provider, merciful etc base on others testimony is good but not the best in our journey with God.

Faith built on our personal knowledge and Conviction of Christ is the only one that can take us far in following Christ firmly. The testimony of others is just to give us a lead to Faith, our personal experience is the main builder of Faith. The level of increasing our Faith is a direct proportion to the knowledge we personally have about Him.

We know God by abiding and learning of Him. Personal experience and Conviction is the key to a strong Faith; the more we know Him, the more we believe in Him; the more we believe in Him, the more we enjoy Him.

Strive to know Him personally!

PRAYER POINT:
Lord Jesus I pray, that you grant me a revelational knowledge about you, that my Faith may be strong in you. Amen
