.TEXT: Ecclesiastes 6:7-8
7. All people spend their lives scratching for food, but they never seem to have enough. [8] So are wise people really better off than fools? Do poor people gain anything by being wise and knowing how to act in front of others?(NLT)

MESSAGE
I was pondering on this topic, I realized there is nothing on Earth that can make human being not want more.
In the aspect of the Spirit, children of God filled with the Holy Spirit still wants more of the Spirit. People of the world wants more of everything they already have. I heard a story of a graduate who desire to climb the highest ladder of education. After his master's degree he realized there are many people with that same degree and he said to himself, if I become a PhD holder, people would respect me. And suddenly he took another step and he obtained a doctorate degree. Then he realized there are so many doctors, we've got doctor of wrist watches, Native Doctor and the likes. He still wasn't satisfied because of the caliber of people holding the same degree with him, then he went on to become a professor and he said now I have arrived. He then realized that there was nothing else to become then he started descending.
Brethren, if you have this whole world to yourself, you won't still be satisfied. Have you ever thought about death? We should not take where we are going for granted. (Hosea 10:12). Everything we all desire on earth is vanity just like our text says. Make sure in your quest for all these vain things, seek the Lord and ask Him to guide you through.

May the Lord bless us.
