TOPIC: FRIENDSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
TEXT:2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

MESSAGE
A friend is one who likes someone and helps or encourages them to make the right choices.

Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people. It is a stronger form of interpersonal bound than an association.
There are three types of friendship.
(a) Friendships of utility (because of usefulness),
(b) Friendships of pleasure (because people enjoy each other’s company) and
(c) Friendships of the good (because of mutual respect and admiration). Becoming a friend of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. It is a Biblical concept that the Holy Spirit is also available to us as a friend. Christian are meant to have intimacy with Him.

However, There are four secrets that can help our friendship with the holy spirit:
(a) Understanding the Holy spirit (1 Cor 2: 14) by His nature and moves;
(b) Reverencing the Holy spirit ( Eph 4: 30) by loving, respecting and honoring Him through obedience and being responsive to His Voice; (c) Trusting the Holy spirit ( Rom 8:11) by depending on Him for guidance, direction, consulting and involvement; and
(d) Communing with the Holy spirit (ps 139:7-10) by thinking about Him always and living in the consciousness of Him.

Become a friend of the Holy Spirit is the best relationship you can ever have.
