TOPIC: FAITH MAKES WHOLE
TEXT: MARK 10:46-52
And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

MESSAGE
Faith according to the book of Hebrews 11:1 says faith is begin sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. And this is exactly what Bartimaeus did in our text, he has been hearing about Jesus for so long for him to have behave the way he did, he never allow the crowd to rob him of his blessing, he believe that he will be made whole that day. In verse51-52, when Jesus ask him what does he want, he was not bias in his answer he told him ‘I want to see’. What is that thing you have been seeking for don’t let your faith be shaking by what you see around you or by what people are saying, just look unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith. And you will rejoice at last, just last Bartimaeus did he was not distracted, he was focus on what he want from Jesus. Be focus do not be distracted, let your faith makes you whole.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: Do not allow the crowd hinders or rob you of your blessings, let you faith in God be active at all time.

PRAYER POINT: Lord Jesus strengthens my faith in you.
