TOPIC: GIVE AN ACCEPTABLE SACRIFICE TO GOD

TEXT: PSALM 51: 17
” the sacrifice of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart- these O God, you will not despise.”

MESSAGE
What can a man give God that will be excellent and acceptable in his sight? God wants a broken spirit and a contrite heart. You cant please God by outward actions alone, no matter how good you are, if your heart is not right, God is won't be satisfied.

In the Old Testament, the Israelites offered their sacrifices in the open field before the building of the temple. For their sacrifices to be acceptable unto God, their sacrifice must be offered in a particular way. In the New Testament dispensation, the emphasis is on individuals becoming living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto God Romans 12:1-2.

Brethren, As we enter a new day, our focus must be on Christ who gave Himself to us that we might live unto Him. It is no longer about self, nor about making money, but it must be about living daily for God.

ACTION POINT: Give God your best today, not what is left.

PRAYER POINT: O Lord, help me to present myself as an acceptable sacrifice to you always in Jesus name.
