Topic: The Faith that works
Text: James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Message
Faith isn't faith when it is not put to action or work.. A real and genuine Faith is such that is put to work or action. Someone praying for one thing or the other but refuse to put his/her Faith will not see any results and may tends to blame God, meanwhile such an individual is yet to act in Faith.
Brethren, Hebrew 11;6 reveals how Important it is to have Faith if you are to please God, a faithless person cannot in anyway please Him because we relate with God by Faith and our relationship or salvation has its basis on Faith (Ephesians 2;8)
How then can I have Faith::Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The Bible is the only sure way to get Faith knowing fully well the importance of communication in relation to believe. If you must have the Faith of God that works then you too must give yourself to hearing and reading the genuine word of God.
Example of Faith with work: A believer is always having a nightmares that makes it difficult for him to sleep knowing that he will have same nightmares, so he went to meet an Alfa who after hearing ask if he is truly a Christian and he affirm to it, the Alfa then ask if he believes in the bible? He said yes, then the Alfa wrote an inscription in Arabic and gave it to him to put under his pillow, the Alfa also said that if he ever had that same dream again then he isn't called of God and that he should come back after 3days for testimony.. Day 1, no nightmare up till Day 3 then this man thought within himself how powerful the Alfa must be... He went to the Alfa with what was giving unto him and the Alfa open it and told him to read what was there, then he could see psalm 23 therein then he placed his hands on his end in regret for not believing so much in the word of God.
Brethren, in this end time you will need to have Faith in God alone and also put that Faith to work so that you can see results.
Action point: Faith without works is dead.
Prayer point: Lord have mercy upon me for not putting my Faith to work.
