TOPIC: Defilement.
TEXT: Matthew 15:10-11
[10]When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand:
[11]Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”
Matthew 15:17-20
[17]Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?
[18]But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
[19]For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
[20]These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

MESSAGE
Glory to Jesus the giver and sustainer of life, it is indeed a privilege to be numbered among the living soul, Glory to God!!

Defilement is state of being corrupt. It is a state where bad or evil things are done. In our above text, Jesus raised a matter about how a man could be defiled and the disciples decides to know what could defile a man. Oftentimes, we thought the kind of food we eat can defile us but Jesus made us to understand that food doesn't defile a man because the end point of food is that it will be passed out.

Jesus said the things that proceeds out of the mouth of a man are things that comes from the heart, however the heart is only a recipient of what creeps into it and ofcourse it passes the information to other parts of the body.
