TOPIC: Act of Giving
Text: Acts 20:35
"I have showed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."

MESSAGE
Giving is good but the motive behind this act is very important. Note that the bible didn't say it is better but more blessed to give than to receive. The giver is more blessed and happier than the receiver.
Why is it more blessed to give than to receive?
1.You are obeying God's command.

2.Giving demonstrates trust in God the Provider-When we give sacrificially and beyond what is comfortable and easy, we are expressing our trust in God to provide for us.

3.God begins to fall in love with you the more (2 Cor.2:7)

4.Giving advances God's Kingdom.

5.Sacrificial giving is a form of praises and thanks to God.

ACTION POINT: People have so many reasons not to be giver, but God's standard and principles remain sure. Cultivate the heart and act of giving today and you will rejoice evermore.

PRAYER POINT:
Lord, I receive grace to give to the poor so as to purchase riches in eternal habitations in Jesus name.
