Text: Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whos o confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Message
Reading the book of 2samuel 11 from verse 1 till the end shows how king David after committing adultery with Bathsheba the wife of Uriah, he tried as much as possible to cover the very act of adultery and Eventually King David advised Joab and that advise led to the death of Uriah..

Brethren, how often have you tried to cover the sins you committed, God isn't interested in you covering your sins, infact He is so displeased with it(2sam 11:27). If the Lord is not happy with you covering your sins as we have learnt in today's devotional, why don't you imbibe the attitude of you confessing your sins so that the Lord can forgive you.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Brethren, the devil has Lied to you long enough that the Lord cannot forgive you but the scripture makes us to understand that if we can confess our sins, the Lord will forgive us...Come to Jesus today and confess your sins to Him.

Action point: He who covers his sin shall not Prosper. Go to God and confess your sins to him
