For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Message
The reason why the body is blessed with so much Grace is not hidden and that's goes with the adage that says when the purpose of a thing isn't known, abuse is inevitable!
Jesus Christ did not share His calling and gifts for personal to gain but to edify His body that we can come to that very perfection and Christ was in His functionality when He was on earth. It's so painful today that so many of God's Children have turned their gaze off the purpose and the reason why Jesus had to bless His body with spiritual gifts, they tends to use the gift in order to satisfy their selfish interest.
Brethren, Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. When God releases His calling upon a man, He tends not to retrieve it and that's why Jesus revealed in Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Working for God isn't justify by miraculous work even the evil Spirit perform miracles.
In conclusion, let's learn from Elisha the prophet,he rejected the gift and other things that Naaman brought him and Also learn from the outcome of Gehaz when he collected the gift his boss rejected.
Action point: Don't monitize or privatize the gift and calling of God upon your life. Jesus gave you for free!
Prayer point: I receive divine wisdom to use my calling and gifts wisely in Jesus name. Amen
