TOPIC: Goodness and Mercy

TEXT: Psalm 23:6

KJV:Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

MESSAGE

What you follow determines what follows you. The word of God makes it very clear that believers are not the ones to follow goodness and mercy rather Goodness and mercy follows believers. When you follow God, goodness and mercy follows you.

Beloved goodness and mercy are meant to follow and not be followed. Goodness and mercy are servants and not to be begged for. So as a follower of Christ, goodness and mercy follows you and as a follower of Jesus Christ you command goodness and mercy. Also, as a follower of Christ, you have already obtained mercy, 1peter 2:10

KJV:Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Beloved as long as you don’t stop chasing after God, His goodness and mercy will chase after you.The devil may roar

but, He has been conquered, He may bark

But, he can’t bite WE ARE WINNERS

ACTION POINT: Follow God, and goodness and mercy will run after you.

PRAYER POINT: Father help me to keep chasing after you…. Help me to keep following you Lord In Jesus name. Amen
