TOPIC: Giving heed to the word of God.

TEXT: Hebrews 2:1–4 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

MESSAGE.

God is still speaking and will continue to speak because He is not a deaf and dumb God just like other gods. God often want to pass information across to His children, to give them instructions and to guide them jealously and that’s why He speaks. Glory to God!

Brethren, the devil is at war to deny us from fulfilling the counsel of God and the devil’s mission is revealed in the book of John 10:10, he want to steal everything that might be of benefits to us and that’s why we must wake up and ensure we fight against the devil.

Furthermore, God spoke through prophet Samuel to king Saul after Saul failed to act according to God’s instructions which is obedience is better than sacrifice. There is nothing that can be used to replace obedience when its comes to dealing with God and so we must give God 💯 obedience to His words and His dealing.

In conclusion , note that the devil is at war to deny you of fulfilling the word of God and so you must beg God for Grace to live accordingly.

PRAYER POINT: Oh God, I receive the Grace to heed to your word. Amen
