TOPIC: Total obedience.

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 10:6

[6]And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

MESSAGE

Have you been desiring to hear God speak to you, then you need to start by obeying every word in the Bible. Obedience is one of the major ways of accessing God Almighty, without being obedient it will be so difficult to walk with God.

No man can ever please God without obeying the voice of God. Taking Enoch as a case study, the Bible says that Enoch walked with God for 300 years and he didn’t die for God took him (Genesis 5:24), it cost Enoch absolute obedience to walk with God for such a good number of years and God was pleased with his relationship with Enoch. You can imagine God coming to Enoch and giving Enoch instructions and without argument or delay he yielded to instructions. Indeed for Enoch to have walked with God for that number of years he must have obeyed God!

Another thing that obedience does to us is to bring upon us the blessings of God. Isaiah 1:19 says, ‘If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land’. Deuteronomy 8:1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

Brethren, to access the blessings of God our prompt obedience to his instructions is very important, God has so much design all things for us but the key to access those things is total obedience. Thus we should bear in mind that what chase Adam and Eve out of the presence of God was disobedience to His instructions, so shouldn’t we put all efforts to obey God?

ACTION POINT: Obedience is key to accessing God Almighty.

PRAYER POINT: I choose to obey every instructions of God for my life in Jesus name..
