TOPIC: LEADERSHIP I
TEXT:Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, Mark 10:43 (NIV)

The message
Leadership is the act of influencing or serving others out of Christ’s interests in their lives so they accomplish God’s purpose for and through them.

Leaders are not to oppress and overpower others with their authority, like the gentiles vs 43, 44 Our Lord enjoins him who is raised above others to conduct himself modestly and humbly; so as not to lord it over those beneath him, but to consider for them and to consult their security and happiness, and so to conduct himself that he may appears to be rather their minister and servant than their lord.

At the same time, our Lord teaches all alike, whether superiors or inferiors, by what way we should strive to reach heaven, so as to sit at the right or left hand of Christ in his kingdom, by the way of humility.

ACTION POINT: Being a leader, does not mean you show it off to people. Resmeber those who are lowliest and most humble here will be the greatest and most exalted there.
