Topic: When ye pray
Text: Matthew 6:6-8 “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”
Message
You! Yes you! Come come and let us reason together, let us receive knowledge and know the truth so by this we can get things right. In what manner have ye thus be praying? With a shout? in the heart? at night or day? have you ever been praying at all?
God want us to pray and pray without ceasing(1Thess 5:17) However an hypercritical communication is what he detest (Proverbs 6 :16- 19) God want a fellowship that is void of evil,pride ,arrogance and forward mouth (proverb 8:13) that is why the definition of prayer should ;
come from a heart that is ready to communicate by prayer. Your readiness birth the delivery of your needs.
Prayer should come from someone who is ready to talk to the Father. The consciousness of God being in the subject matter makes you true and when you're true you are open, then reward comes in accurately.
Prayer should be a guided act: prayer is not just communication, it is a guided communication. You must be prepared. Yes it has no time or season so your spirit man must be alive and active to help you pray right: v5 Be ye not like unto them(The user of vain repetition) note; it is not bad to be repetitive (Luke 18:1-8) but doing it with a grain heart is what God doesn't want. Remember he that must come to God, must know that he exist and he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him
