Topic: it would only last a while
    Text: 2 Kings 25:27-30
[27]In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of King Jehoiachin of Judah, Evil-merodach ascended to the Babylonian throne. He was kind to Jehoiachin and released him from prison on April 2 of that year.
[28]He spoke kindly to Jehoiachin and gave him a higher place than all the other exiled kings in Babylon.
[29]He supplied Jehoiachin with new clothes to replace his prison garb and allowed him to dine in the king’s presence for the rest of his life.
[30]So the king gave him a regular food allowance as long as he lived.

The message.
IT would be most blessed if we can read the whole chapter 25 (2kings). It tells of how much power took over the sanity of men, so much that they do not consider their fellow humans something to live with or for. Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon as well Nebuzaradan the captain of guards, became a threat, even to the house of God.

In this present time, quite a number of authorities has set us in turbulence. The intellectual now seems useless, the wise seems a fool, the Spiritual an idiot, the leader a gullible; just the way Johiachin the king of Judah was displayed. Your good intention thus is frustrated in as as much as you haven’t saved yourself. How then do you intend to save your household?

Proverbs 27:11 encourages us to be wise and keep making the lord glad even as you choose not to be of the world. Remember, he that watches over Israel neither sleeps nor slumber, he sees your pain, he knows your pain, hold still! It would only; last a while all will be well.
Prayer point: Father while I wait, help me to stay strong till you come for my help. Amen
