TOPIC: Freedom in Christ, Walking in the consciousness

TEXT: Gal 4:4–5

KJV:But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

KJV:To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

MESSAGE

Our nature changes once we have given our life to Christ. God’s power and grace to live above sin and the righteousness of Christ is bestowed on us and we must walk in the consciousness.

However, if we do not have the knowledge of who we are in Christ the devil will end up deceiving us and making a mess of our lives. When you have access to something but you do not have knowledge of this access, it is the same as saying you do not have it and as a heir that doesn’t have an idea of his/her inheritance will live like a slave.

It is to be noted that Christ has set us free from the law of sin but if we are ignorant of this, we will continue to live in the shackles of sin and below God’s plan for our lives.

Knowing our inheritance and the level of our freedom we have in Christ can only be achieved through the study of the word of God. You need to know what the bible says about you as a joint heir of Christ and heir according to his promise.

ACTION POINT:

Find out what your inheritance in Christ is and live with the consciousness of this.

PRAYER POINT:

Father I refuse to live as a slave, I therefore walk in the reality of who i am in Christ Jesus. Amen
