TOPIC: GET RID OF SIN

TEXT: JAMES 5: 16

”…… confess your sins to each other and pray for each other, so that you may be healed.”



MESSAGE

The first step to becoming a believer is for us to admit that we have a problem with sin. We have to understand our natural state as a sinner before we can come to the cross and confess “I am a sinner.” Once we confess, we can accept the cure that Jesus offers. After we’ve accept Jesus, we may still have problem with sin. However, His death has paid the penalty for our sin and assured us of acceptance and victory by God.


We can receive healing by confessing our sins to other believers. Anytime we struggle with sin and we need to hear God’s assurance of pardon, then we can talk to a believer. In Christ’s Kingdom, every believer is a priest to other believers (1Pet. 2:9) God heals and he will heal you today in Jesus Name.
