Topic: The Conclusion
Text: Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Message
Everyone created by God has his\her own purpose on earth. As we have purpose to achieve on Earth so are the duties to perform. The duties God has for us is clearly stated in the book of Ecclesiastics 12:13b that we should fear him [God] and the second one is that we should keep this commandment. We are face with a task and the task is the duty we have to perform and the duties are; to fear God and to keep his commandment. With this duties we can be the friend of God as it is stated in the book of John 15:14 that "ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you’’

To fulfil your purpose on earth as a Christian you need the help of God and the best way to get the help of God is to be his friend and to be his friend and you have to fear him and keep his commandment. Jesus Christ said in the book of Matthew 22:37 when he was explaining the two greatest commandments to the Pharisees and Sadducees, He said "thou the shall love the lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all the soul, and with all thy mind; this is the first and great commandment and the second is like unto it, thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself, on these two commandment hang all the law and the prophet.
If you read our test for today, which is Ecclesiastes 12:13 and Matthew 22:37 you will understand that you can’t run away from God’s commandment which is the duties you need to perform daily. To fear God and keep his commandment just as the preacher gave the conclusion in the book of Ecclesiastes 12:13 that the conclusion of the matter: let us "fear god and keep his commandment for this is the of man."

Prayer point: oh lord, help me to love and fear You the more and give me power to perform my duties on earth.
